Universal Music Australia launched Emma Matthews' and Rosario La Spina's last Opera CD at the Country Trader. 17th August 2009

On the 17th of August, The Country Trader showroom became the ideal scenario for the launch of Rosario la Spina and Emma Matthews’ Opera compilations with the Orchestre Philarmonique de Monte-Carlo.  

More than a hundred guests arrived at six in the afternoon ready to hear the magnificent sopranos while enjoying a glass of wine and delicious antipasto displayed over an antique marble top table.  

Rosario’s voice and the piano music filled the room with well known Italian opera pieces such as Verdi’s “La mia Letizia Infondere”.  

Unfortunately, Emma Matthews, due to a throat infection, was not able to sing for the knowledgeable spectators; but, after the due apology, there was a short documentary about her life in the Opera world.  

The audience was feeling ‘at home’ at The Country Trader’s luxurious settings. It was the perfect combination for an unforgettable evening. Back
