Thank you for your support of the Sydney Children's Hospital's Gold Dinner 2007 through your generous donation of exquisite furniture and other items used as table centrepieces and to decorate the venue. You contributed tremendously to the overall success of the evening.

As you know, the evening was a huge success raising a record $3.17 million net profit for the Pain and Palliative Care Service as Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick. This service touches all the medical disciplines and is responsible for the effective management of children's acute, chronic and disease-related (eg cancer) pain. The Gold Dinner 2007 will now be able to enhance this Service whose aim is to relieve and alleviate suffering in children.

This outstanding result brings the total amount raised from the 10 Gold Dinners to over $12.4 million. Since 1998 the dinner has made a major impact on the lives of literally tens of thousands of ill children treated at the Hospital and this has only been possible due to generous support we received from everyone involved with each dinner-from our generous gold table patrons and their guests, to our prize donors, production crew and volunteers.

I encolse a copy of the Gold Dinner 2007 official programme, and the Sun Herald "Thank You" advertisemens which appeared on Sunday 10th June, recognising the support of all donors to this year's Dinner.

Thank you again for your generosity in supporting the GOld Dinner 2007, and in doing so directly contibuting to the success of the Dinner and most importantly vital funds for the Pain and Palliative Care Service.
