It seems the whole world is having a love affair with Florence Broadhurst right now. Even those not familiar with the name would recognise these magical designs and colourways appearing prolifically as wallpapers in bars, as backdrops for fashion shoots or transformed into high fashion.

For David Lennie and his wife helen, who catapulted the range into global glory through their textile company, the Broadhurst phenomena is part of the reason they've opened the new Signature Prints Showroom and Gallery, located nextdoor to the existing factory.

The industrial-style space, with its high ceilings, deliberately exposed beams and natural concrete floors, carries an essence of its factory ties and steers clear of cliched gallery aloofness, so the feel is relaxed.Alongside a hanging catalog of fabrics and wallpapers are limited edition prints mounted on parchment paper and the bold new homewares collection which includes cushions, throws and lampshades.

One end of the showroom is dedicated to an in situ display to demonstrate Florence Broadhurst designs. It will change regularly, as will the artwork displayed here - phase two of theplans."We wanted a space that was alive and moving so on a cyclical basis we will hold art shows," says Lennie. "Part of our focus is on producing limited edition art."

Signature Prints has an overwhelming archive of 530 Broadhurst designs. As well as offering a taste of this collection, the gallery is and opportunity to custom design something unique. Or, simply indulge in the gallery's beautiful art. Back
